Sony Singapore Introduces BRAVIA W45 Series
Setting new standards for LCD televisions, Sony Singapore introduces BRAVIA W45 series, the latest addition to BRAVIA’s premium collection. Adding to the wide spectrum of audio visual features available, BRAVIA W45 series offers sharper visuals with Motionflow 100Hz technology, true-to-life colour reproduction with x.v.Colour, and better shadow details and deeper blacks with improved Dynamic Contrast of 50,000:1.
“Wanting only the best for our consumers, Sony developed the new BRAVIA W45 series to offer Motionflow 100Hz technology and x.v.Colour in an already feature-packed LCD TV.” says Mr. Takeo Kobayashi, Managing Director, Sony Singapore. “While Motionflow technology offers clearer, sharper images, x.v.Colour takes life-like visual reproduction to the next level.”
Apart from its shimmering Midnight blue good looks, consumers can look forward to ultra smooth action with Advanced Motionflow technology at 100Hz in the BRAVIA W45 series. Using 100Hz technology, the number of frames created is doubled to 100 frames per second, ensuring clearer and sharper visuals every time. Benchmarked by its predecessors for high quality, the new BRAVIA continues to impress with unparalleled picture quality, broadcasting Full High Definition 1920 x 1080 content. The Intelligent Picture feature helps enhance free-to-air broadcasts received via an indoor antenna to provide vibrant, noise-free visual performance. Natural colour reproduction is further enhanced with the addition of x.v.Colour, Advanced Contrast Enhancer, improved Dynamic Contrast at 50,000:1, and BRAVIA Engine 2 technologies.
Understanding the value of music in consumers’ lives, the new BRAVIA also features S-Force Front Surround technology, improving the digital signal processor algorithm to present excellent virtual surround sound every time. In addition, consumers who love listening to every dialogue delivered can expect a treat with Voice Zoom function that automatically adjusts voice volume level and ambient volume level for optimum listening. True-blue audiophiles can further use Digital Media Port for an all-in-one connection to view playlists, artists, albums, and track information from portable devices such as Sony’s Walkman MP3 player or an iPod, on the BRAVIA.
To leverage on the full suite of HD entertainment systems available, the BRAVIA can be easily connected to other entertainment devices and with BRAVIA Sync, intuitively enable a one-push play and shutdown synchronicity. Similarly, favourite moments can be simply shared with family and friends as the PhotoTV HD feature allows still images to be viewed on the big screen in Full HD glory.
The BRAVIA W45 series will be available in Singapore from November 2008.
