1 October 2008 - Creative today announced the new Creative Inspire™ T3200 and Creative Inspire™ T6200 speaker systems. The Creative Inspire T3200 is perfect for PC and MP3 audio entertainment while Inspire T6200 delivers consistent high-quality surround sound performance, ensuring that users are fully immersed when gaming on the PC or watching movies. The speaker systems are available from mid October 2008 onwards at suggested retail prices of S$89.00 and S$149.00 respectively.

12 September 2008 - Apple today introduced the new fourth generation iPod® nano, the thinnest iPod ever featuring a sleek new design with a curved aluminum and glass enclosure, in nine vibrant colors. The new iPod nano is available immediately for a suggested price of S$248 for the 8GB model and S$328 for the 16GB model. Apple also today introduced the second generation iPod® touch featuring an amazingly thin contoured metal design, a gorgeous 3.5-inch widescreen glass display, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi wireless networking, integrated volume control buttons, a built-in speaker for casual listening, a built-in accelerometer and other advanced sensors, and Apple’s revolutionary Multi-Touch™ user interface. The new iPod touch is available immediately for a suggested price of S$388 for the 8GB model, S$498 for the 16GB and S$648 for the 32GB model.

9 September 2008 - Sony Electronics Asia Pacific expands its Walkman® family to include two new series of stylishly slim video MP3 players, the NWZ-S730F and NWZ-E430F. Ideal for today’s mobile consumers, the NWZ-S730F series is the only video MP3 player in the market with a noise cancelling function that effectively reduces ambient noise to ensure quality entertainment. For nonstop entertainment, the NWZ-E430F series offers up to 45 hours of music or up to 8 hours of video , marking a significantly longer battery life compared to most portable media players available today. The new Walkman S & E series will be available in Asia Pacific from October 2008.

24 July 2008 - Creative today introduced the Creative ZEN® Mozaic portable media player for music, photos and video. The Creative ZEN Mozaic comes complete with an impressive built-in speaker, vibrant 1.8-inch LCD colour screen, FM radio and voice recorder. Weighing just 43g and measuring 79.5mm x 40mm x 12.8mm, the super compact Creative ZEN Mozaic provides up to 32 hours of audio playback with a single charge of the battery. Also available at a later date are 8GB and 16GB models. The Creative ZEN Mozaic is available in black or pink for the 2GB model at S$99.00 and in black, pink or silver for the 4GB model at S$129.00. Available later in August 2008 will be the 8GB model at S$169.00 and the 16GB model at S$249.00 in black colour.

Priced at S$219.00, the PCI Express Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series features Dolby Digital encoding, for single-cable connection to home theater systems. Priced at S$299.00, the new PCI Express Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series sound card includes all of the features of the PCI Express Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series, plus an internal I/O drive for quick front panel connection to headphones and headsets.

17 September 2008 - Creative today announced the new Creative Sound Blaster® X-Fi® Notebook sound card, designed to make all of your iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster and MP3 music, movies and games on your notebook PC sound better. It fits easily into the ExpressCard slot to upgrade the latest notebook PCs to premium sound systems with award-winning X-Fi audio technology. The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook and the Creative Wireless Receiver (which includes a remote control) will be sold together at a suggested retail price of S$269.00 from end October 2008 onwards.

9 September 2008 - Sony Electronics has just introduced its new iPod Speaker Dock Clock Radio, a clock radio with a dock for either iPhone or iPod. The convenient ICF-C1iPMK2 allows you to wake up and fall asleep to your favourite music from your iPod, iPhone, the radio or a buzzer. It features a wireless remote with full access to the iPod and iPhone devices’ menus (the iPhone handset must be in iPod mode), as well as to alarm clock’s radio tuning and volume functions. There is also the ability to set two separate alarms easily. The new iPod Speaker Dock Clock Radio will be available in selected Asia Pacific countries from September 2008.

27 August 2008 - Creative announced the Creative N400 USB Powered Notebook Speaker System. The Creative N400 is a compact 2.0 Speaker System that is powered and provides digital sound through a single USB cable connected to users’ computer. Each satellite speaker is equipped with a dual 2-inch full range active driver for high efficiency and delivers smooth detailed playback with outstanding bass. The Creative N400 USB Powered Notebook Speaker System will be available in Singapore in mid September 2008 for S$119.00.

23 August 2008 - Creative today introduced the Creative Sound Blaster® X-Fi™ Go!. Sporting a sleek and distinctive black finish, the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! is incredibly lightweight (less than 20g) and compact. The 1GB of built-in flash memory stores the essential software for instant simple installation on any notebook or desktop PC without the need of a CD. The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! is available in Singapore from end August 2008 at a suggested retail price of S$79.00.

9 August 2008 - Audio technology has risen to the next level of innovation with Sony Singapore’s new HiFi system, the Giga Juke NAS-E35HD. Riding on an 80GB storage capacity hard disk drive, the Giga Juke player can store up to 15,000 songs for nonstop music playback. The new Giga Juke will be available in Singapore from August 2008 onwards and retails for S$699.00 inclusive GST.

16 July 2008 - Creative today announced the Creative EP-630i In-Ear Stereo Headset exclusively designed for the iPhone and iPod. Powered by 9mm Neodymium magnet drivers, Creative EP-630i In-Ear Stereo Headset offers excellent bass with crystal clear speech. The Creative EP-630i In-Ear Stereo Headset will be available in Singapore in early September 2008 for the suggested retail price of S$79.00.

16 June 2008 - Auzentech reveals today its non-downsampling, HDMI 1.3-native, PCI express audio combo card: Auzen X-Fi HomeTheater 7.1. The Auzen X-Fi HomeTheater 7.1 accepts video from either an internal or external connection, mixes it with digital audio, and outputs the combined video and lossless multichannel audio via a single HDMI™ 1.3 port. Moreover, the internal connection will exclusively support upcoming NVIDIA products, to create the ultimate in audio and visual entertainment. Release of the Auzen X-Fi HomeTheater 7.1 is planned for Sept. of 2008.

12 May 2008 - Creative today announced the Creative Sound Blaster® X-Fi® Surround 5.1, the first USB 2.0 audio solution that provides users with the easiest upgrade from basic, built-in audio to the premium Xtreme Fidelity™ (X-Fi) audio experience for their PC and notebook. The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 will be available in Singapore by end May 2008 for S$ 99.00.
